While he struggles with the realization that failure isn't an option, Archer despairs. What will happen to him.... and the king's daughter... if he fails?
THE ARCHER ADVENTURES
by Katharine Giles
Several millenia ago, an earthquake and tidal sent the city of Ekonia to the sea floor. Those who wore the collar that let air breathers live beneath the sea survived the tragedy but before they could be rescued, they disappeared.
Before King Ichos sends Archer and Aradia to the earth sea to find the lost ones, he warns them to be vigilant for danger lurks in the ruins of the dead city. Without knowing what to look for, Archer and Aradia are nearly captured by one of the most dangerous creatures in the sea...a man-eating shape shifter.
After a hazardous escape, they spend the night at the survivor's last resting place and begin their search early the next morning. But more danger stalks them from the depths when a whirlpool pulls them into a dragon's lair beneath the sea floor. Before the dragon can attack, they're found and captured by the last remaining members of an Ichonaut guard last seen with the survivors in Ekonia's ruins.
But when the Ichonauts escort them to their queen, Archer and Aradia realize they've found the lost ones for Queen Kara is holding the purple gemstone trident. Queen Kara spots Aradia's gemstone charm and intends to have that sparkling treasure! She soon learns she's met her match when an angry Aradia takes her into the dragon's lair to teach her a lesson.
Releasing the lost ones from their undersea prison creates a major challenge and Aradia must use her crystal charm to request help from the Enforcers and let them find a way to free the lost ones.
Solving puzzles in an outer galaxy is not for the faint of heart, especially when lives are at stake.
The search for a purple gemstone trident leads Archer and Aradia to ancient treachery.
